Occasionally I’ll get a bird that lands on the deck rail which allows me to track it in auto focus at it flies to the feeder. Coming at you allows you more time than a bird that flies in from the side so I try to take advantage of these moments. I had this Mockingbird in my sights but I was unable to get all of the images in sharp focus.
I did manage to snag one image that I thought was good enough. With a bit of Photoshopping I was able to isolate the bird and wind up with a fairly decent image.
